What types of apparel sell best in gift shops?

T-shirts are a strong starting point for most gift shop apparel assortments because they work across destinations, graphics and customer groups. Sweatshirts and hoodies can expand the collection for cooler seasons or customers looking for a heavier souvenir, while jackets may make sense for colder destinations and outdoor attractions. The best mix ultimately comes from your own sales: use previous size, color and category performance to decide what deserves more inventory.

Can I order blank apparel for custom gift shop merchandise?

Yes. ShirtsBargain carries blank apparel that gift shops can use as the base for custom merchandise. Blank T-shirts, sweatshirts and other garments can be selected around the design and customer you want to target. Before ordering a large run, match the garment to the planned decoration method, artwork placement and finished retail price. For destination merchandise, choose the blank and the graphic together rather than selecting the garment after the design is finished.

What is the advantage of buying apparel wholesale for gift shops?

Wholesale purchasing can lower the merchandise cost per unit and make it easier to stock multiple sizes of proven apparel styles. The larger opportunity is not simply buying more pieces. It is buying the right quantities. Build deeper inventory around designs and blanks that already sell, while testing new garments in smaller numbers. That gives the store more room to react to demand instead of locking too much budget into unproven styles.

How do I choose the right apparel for my gift shop?

Start with your visitor profile, climate and expected selling price, then choose the garment. A warm-weather tourist shop may build heavily around tees, while a mountain destination may give sweatshirts and jackets more shelf space. Next, compare fabric, fit, sizes and colors before deciding on a blank for custom decoration. If you already sell apparel, your own sales history should guide size quantities and reorders rather than dividing inventory evenly across every option.
